This simple wristband works by emitting a gentle impulse on the skin of the snorer which causes a light reflex which doesn’t wake the snorer but makes them stop snoring by causing them to alter their body position which in turn helps to tighten the throat muscles.

Tests so far have indicated that this smart device can reduce or stop snoring in 80% of users. As well as stopping snoring this wristband helps to promote better breathing and also means that the actual snorer (as well as their partner) gets a good nights sleep. Most users report that they feel much better and more awake during the day, all in all this product seems to benefit everyone.

The DailyCare SS-650 Snore Stopper is light weight, comfortable and comes with a handy case to take on trips.

While many partners can live happily together; they just can’t sleep well side by side. Research from the Better Sleep Council (BSC) found that on average, one in three Americans report that their partner’s sleep problems negatively impact their own quality of sleep.

If you or your partner aren’t sleeping well, it can take a toll on your relationship

“Sleeping together is an important way for couples to feel connected with each other. If you or your partner aren’t sleeping well, it can take a toll on your relationship,” says relationship expert Lissa Coffey from the Better Sleep Council (BSC). “Common sense tells us that if you wake up tired and cranky, chances are you aren’t going to be the most loving person.”

If your mattress is less than five to seven years old, but you and your partner are still suffering from poor sleep, your partner’s sleep habits may be the problem. This Valentine’s Day, bring harmony back to the bedroom and your relationship with these sleep solutions from relationship expert Lissa Coffey and the Better Sleep Council:

Your partner kicks in his or her sleep, waking you up.

Make sure your bed gives each person adequate sleep surface. If you are sharing a double (full–size) mattress, that only gives each person as much room as sleeping in a crib! Couples should share a mattress no smaller than queen-size.

Your partner likes it hot, but you like it cool.

Temperature is a major issue in many relationships. Ideally, your bedroom should be a cool 60–65 degrees Fahrenheit. But a few simple adjustments can make it possible for a person who craves heat and a person who craves cool to sleep side by side comfortably.

Double fold the blankets so there is more coverage on one side.

Invest in a dual-control electric blanket or a twin-size electric blanket for one side.

Your partner snores, keeping you up at night.

Snoring can be a serious health concern, so make sure to consult your physician. If your partner’s snoring is not a serious health condition, try alternative treatments like investing in anti-snore pillows, sprays or nasal strips that are designed to help people breathe more easily. If your partner’s snoring persists, try foam earplugs before you try a different room.

Your partner tosses and turns.

It may be your mattress. If your mattress is uncomfortable, it can lead to restless sleep. Mattresses should be evaluated every five to seven years for comfort and support.

Your partner loves to cuddle, but you like your space while you sleep.

Compromise. Before falling asleep spend some time snuggling together and then agree to sleep apart.

Your sleep schedules don’t match.

Try finding a bedtime that works for both of you. If your partner turns in early and you’re a night owl, try reading a book with a personal book lamp until you’re ready to nod off. If you’re an early riser compared to your sleep partner, be considerate in the early morning. Keep overhead lights off and use minimal lighting while your partner is sleeping.

Your bedroom feels more like an office than a place to sleep.

Your bedroom should only be used for sleep and sex. Keep work, laptops, PDAs and televisions out of the bedroom. This creates a much more relaxing and romantic atmosphere, and will give you both a better night’s sleep.

The BSC is devoted to educating the public about the importance of sleep to good health and quality of life and about the value of the sleep system and sleep environment in pursuit of a good night’s sleep find out more at their website www.bettersleep.org/

This great anti snore mouth piece works by helping prevent the lower jaw and tongue from restricting the airways which is one of the most common causes of snoring.

This week we take a closer look at anti snore mouth pieces. Many of the mouth pieces that stop snoring need to be sent off to a lab in order to be fitted correctly which can not only take time but also put up the cost of the mouth piece considerably.

Anti snore mouth pieces can work extremely well helping the snorer to stop snoring and his or her partner get a good nights sleep.

This great anti snore mouth piece works by helping prevent the lower jaw and tongue from restricting the airways which is one of the most common causes of snoring. Studies indicate that oral mandibular advancement devices are often more effective than surgery for preventing snoring.

Designed to treat snoring and snore apnea

Clinically proven to eliminate or significantly reduce snoring

Custom fitting done right at home in minutes

Lasts up to 24 months

100% money back guarantee if not satisfied

The Anti-Snore mouth piece is made from non-toxic, hypo-allergenic and hygiene certified material. It effectively eliminates snoring by keeping the airways unrestricted so that the user can breathe easier and end the misery of snoring. If you are endlessly trying to find ways to end you or your spouses snoring the search ends here.

Patients with Sleep Apnea can also benefit from using the Anti-Snore as they tend to find mouth pieces easier to comply with than CPAP (constant air pressure machines), and thus they are more likely to continue their use and derive benefit from mandibular advancement devices.

In simple terms Sleep Apnea is a medical term given to a sleep disorder where the main symptom is characterized by short pauses in breathing during sleep. Sufferers literally stop breathing for a few seconds sometimes up to 30 times an hour. Often the sufferer will make a loud snorting, snoring or choking noise each time they resume normal breathing again.

Even though they may be completely unaware of their condition the end result is that the sufferer of Sleep Apnea does not get a proper nights sleep. Its this lack of good quality sleep that leaves sufferers of Sleep Apnea feeling tired and sleepy during the day and in extreme cases this can lead to chronic daytime fatigue.

Because suffers of Sleep Apnea are most often unaware that they have the condition Sleep Apnea can go a long time without being diagnosed. Quite often it is the sufferers partner that notices that they stop breathing for a short while or other symptoms that are commonly associated with Sleep Apnea such as snoring and daytime drowsiness that alert the sufferer to his or her condition.

Types of Sleep Apnea

There are three different types of Sleep Apnea, OSA or Obstructed Sleep Apnea, CSA or Central Sleep Apnea and mixed Sleep Apnea which is a combination of OSA and CSA.

Obstructed Sleep Apnea OSA

Obstructed Sleep Apnea is the most common type of Sleep Apnea and is caused by a blockage to the airway; usually because the soft tissues at the back of the throat collapse during sleep. When this happens the sufferer stops breathing for a short while which then causes them to wake up and so open the airway again. This can happen up to 100 times a night in severe cases. There are several forms of treatment that a doctor may prescribe to sufferers of Obstructive Sleep Apnea including the use of a CPAP mask which delivers a small amount of pressurized air to the sufferer thus keeping the airway open. If the sufferer is overweight then sometimes this can be a contributing factor in Obstructive Sleep Apnea and so a weight loss program may help.

Central Sleep Apnea CSA

Central Sleep Apnea is quite rare and is caused when the brain forgets to send a signal to the muscles to take a breath.

Probably the most effective snoring and sleep apnea treatment currently available, CPAP therapy works by preventing your airway from closing during sleep.

Most CPAP teatment systems are very uncomfortable to sleep in and although they are extremely effective it’s the discomfort that causes users to discard the system often after just a few hours and so preventing the CPAP treatment from working.

That’s where the CPAP Multi Mask Sleep Pillow comes in, as well as allowing more freedom of movement and greater comfort especially for side and stomach sleepers this specially designed pillow works with most CPAP systems.

The CPAP Multi Mask Pillow also offers correct neck support and spinal alignment via the specially designed pillow which has cut outs designed to keep the mask and its tubing securely positioned during sleep, this is important as it allows the CPAP system to work correctly.
